I currently apply my expansive experience in construction, marketing, sales, negotiations, and design to my real estate business in Silicon Valley’s Mid-Peninsula communities of Menlo Park, Atherton, Portola Valley, Woodside, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Mountain View and Redwood City.

I have had 20 years of sales experience with two national companies. My experience includes 12 years of Real Estate experience as President of a national vacation condominium and home sales/rental company called www.condoworld.com. I specialized in the rental and sales of exclusive vacation condominiums and homes. My experience also includes 8 years as the National Sales Manager for Monarch Fasteners/Border Bolt, Inc., a national construction products company.

Herschel Cobb:

Herschel is an attorney and active member of the California State Bar. Herschel earned his law degree at the University of California at Berkeley and specialized in complex real estate and business matters and estate and probate matters. He has extensive experience at the negotiation table.

He worked in acquisitions for a national real estate syndication firm during which time he acquired over $400 million in commercial properties. In the late 1980’s, Herschel worked with a major commercial mortgage banking firm. Today, he maintains a small investment business in which he is responsible for guiding the investments of family trusts along with his duties with our group.

Matthew S. Holder:

Matthew is a Broker-Associate native to the Mid-San Francisco Peninsula. Born and raised in Atherton, he attended St. Joseph’s Elementary in Atherton and Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose before graduating from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.

Matthew represents the next wave in real estate professionalism by lending his talents in market and trend analysis as well as technological know-how and Web 2.0 proficiency to bolster our group’s perspective and performance.

He comes from an extensive property management, investment and construction background, which combined with his market analysis expertise, allow him to give our clients a much needed perspective in changing markets.

Laurie Sacher, a member of the team since September 2006, brings 18 years of title and escrow experience, transaction coordination, marketing, construction and property management skills.

Personal Background:

I was raised in Atherton and attended Sacred Heart, Atherton, for Elementary and High School followed by Santa Clara University.

My roots are deep in this community. My great-great grandparent traveled to San Francisco in 1850. My grandparents, who lived in San Francisco, spent their summers from 1911 in the Woodside/Atherton/Menlo Park areas and moved permanently in 1939. My husband Herschel's grandfather, Ty Cobb, moved to Atherton to raise his family in 1933.

As a family, we enjoy reading, traveling and are avid sports fans and participants. Our family also enjoys baseball, football, basketball, tennis, golf and horseback riding.
